About ISVI

Welcome to the home of the International Society for Value Inquiry (ISVI). The ISVI was established in 1986 to augment the international work of The American Society for Value Inquiry. The ISVI’ s purpose is to advance the study of values internationally through a three-fold focus encompassing (1)  general value theory, (2) interdisciplinary inquiry, and (3) applied valued studies. The ISVI offers the opportunity for scholars to share important ideas across cultural divides at ISVI meetings and in the ISVI web-posted Newsletters.
